RSS Button for Safari for Mac Overview
Safari can read Atom or JSON feeds on your favorite desktop or web-based news reader. Feedbin, Feedly, FeedHQ, The Old Reader, Minimal Reader, Feed Wrangler, Inoreader, NewsBlur, or BazQuz Reader require a desktop news reader that supports RSS, Atom, or JSON feeds or an account with an online newsreader.
You may also copy the feed address to your clipboard and read it with any self-hosted newsreader. It does not collect or store any information about users. At no time does the application or extension make any requests to external or third-party services
Installation of an extension
1) Open the application from Applications;
2) Enable the extension from Safari Preferences under the extensions tab.
3) Choose your preferred news reader
4) If the RSS button does not appear on your Toolbar in Safari, go to View / Customize Toolbar and drag it to your Toolbar.
